So true tennisguy. It's just like tabloid TV, so let's get real.
I think that it is hysterical Democrats get all in a lather over "AM" radio. Trying to push a "Fairness Bill" to establish platform with Conservatives. Air America, the Liberal effort to "get their message out", crashed and burned. Sponsors, a key element in "paying" for air time didn't see fit to continue to support Air America. thus, the Fairness Act. If you can't get sponsors to pay for it, legislate so that they "have to". This way the sponsors will "pay" for the Conservative shows on "AM" radio and the liberals can get their "message" out.
The claim that "Talk Radio" is only "entertainment" only serves the liberal bend to diminish information that contradicts that which is disseminated by supposedly dedicated news sourses. Their attempts at trying to offset the influence of conservative radio by creating programming of their own has failed. Apparently, those that would listen to a talk show with the left wing agenda aren't really interested. They already know how they feel and don't need re-enforcement or more information.
But it's so sad and so sorry to try and undermind conservative talk radio. It's "AM" Radio.

I am glad to see that newswaite is in agreement - that the so-called "Liberal-controlled media," is a myth perpertrated by right-wing media.
That's a bit of a reach,Tennisguy. Outside of "AM" Radio and Fox News,who of late even "I" as a conservative have to question the content of their reports, the "voice" of the conservative point of view isn't nearly disseminated as much as the more Liberal,errrr...Progressive agenda.Print media is less quoted by network and cable news access,outside of Fox, as well. Renders creedance to Tennisguys post of "saying ssomething Often Enough...".
The sad part is the the "Liberal" point of view refuses to have legitimate debate on questionable issues such as climate change, stem cell research,bio-fuels and oil drilling just for openers. Nancy Peloci has taken a totalitarian approach to thwarting the "drill or not to drill" issue that ALL U.S. citizens should be outraged over, but that's another Blog.
There "are" three sides to what is happening here; the account on the Left, the account on the Right and the Truth. The only way to get at "The Truth" is through some objectivity. More research and of various sourses have to applied.
Neither side can be "all wrong" any more than any one side can be "all right".
Just a thought.........
Here's a new one: "Republicanistical." It describes those who insist on saying "Democrat" party sted "Democratic" party. :)
